If the climber is aged 14+ and woudl prefer to compete against the adults and give them a chance to qualify for the big final then they may join the adult round.

They must not attend the junior round on Saturday though.

Yes, as we have limited slots you will need to book in advance. In previous years we have sold out well in advance so do not delay in getting your space.

Yes, we would love to have you come and watch our Big Scramble final on the Sunday evening. No booking is required if you are just coming for the Finals from 6pm.

Due to space limitations and us wanting to keep a safe enviroment for the competitors there will be a strict 1 spectator rule for each competitor.

All junior climbers must have a supervisor nominated for the day. This can be a parent, guardian or climbing coach. The supervisor is responsible for the climbers safety at all times and must remain with the climber and on site at all times.

You will be asked on booking who the supervisor will be on the day with a contact number too.

Morning kids clubs will run at the same time as normal on both days. For the clubs that take place in the afternoon on Saturday and Sunday, you will be contacted and given the option of:

a) Attending the morning kids clubs for a fun Big Scramble Kids Club special

b) Attending the Big Scramble Junior round for free

c) Credited for the missed session.

Prizes will be given out to all podium finishers for all catergories. These will be a combination of gear and Volume 1 Shop vouchers.

Yes, as with all of our events we like to put on something special in the cafe. Not only will we have a Big Scramble menu but we will also be joined by ‘What the Crepe’ who will be set up on the Mezx providing a great selection of Crepes too!
